Modified Habit (shirt style) with attached hood and rolled front neck - identical to Habit Style H-111. Plain shirt without pockets, long sleeves only. Very loose-fitting. Length of shirt is up to customer ~ see measurement page for center back to hem.
Broadcloth (50% cotton/50% polyester) light gray, dark brown, and royal blue, black broadcloth is (65% polyester/45% cotton)
Tropical weave wool (45% wool/65% polyester) dark gray, black, off-white, and brown

* The modified habit shirt came about, when a Franciscan friend who ministered to the local police and firemen, approached Glory and Praise Vestments, and asked to have a shorter version of the habit made so that he could be present on-scene ~ say for instance at an accident ~ and be able to minister to the people without the hinderence of a full length habit. Since then, the habit shirt has been ordered by those who minister in the hospital and various other places. The shirt enables them to be more mobile, yet still maintain their spiritual calling. Please note, Glory and Praise Vestments provides custom-designed liturgical vestments and religious habits for those legitimately serving in their church or religious order or congregation.
* Note: These modified habit shirts CAN become a half-tunic ~ it all depends on the Center Back measurement provided by the customer. In order words, the length can fall to your mid-thigh, or calf. A slight increase in cost may apply.
